“Loved our stay here. Close to everything so driving was easy, we loved the breakfast!! So many options and stocked CONSTANTLY didnt have to wait for ages for coffee either.”

“Location was good, and the facilities were good, although we were travelling and exploring most of the time”
Worth knowing: We booked a villa with two rooms. The living area was spacious and comfortable and was next to the golf course with a reasonable view. Both rooms had safety deposit boxes, but neither was working. We reported it and later fixed. The hot water also stopped working 3-4 times. After complaining, staff fixed it, only for the problem to occur again a few hours later. When we complained again, we were offered an upgrade, and we specifically asked for a similar apartment with a reasonable view. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the "upgraded" villa, it had a much smaller living space and had no view or privacy- it was truly a downgrade. Also, noticed it had not been properly cleaned. The carpets had used plaster and dirt on the floor, the dishwasher had not been emptied, and we felt the villa was offered half done . We were not sure whether the bathrooms had been properly sanitised . Also again, the safety deposit box was also not working. At this point, we felt we were more like “ building inspectors” than guests, constantly having to report defects to the staff. We eventually complained again and requested to speak with the hotel manager. The manager called us and offered to move us yet again, but we declined because, after our experience so far, we had no confidence that the next accommodation would be any better and were fed up of packing and unpacking. We made it very clear to the manager how unhappy we were with the experience and hotel was ruining our holiday. He apologised and refunded the charges for one day. It was not about a refund, as we relied on Rydges for a far better service for their guests and cleanliness. We will never book this hotel again.

Worth knowing: Possible bed bugs and I was bit and mosquitos and cockroaches in the room
We were there for a wedding. Suited perfectly. Location and amenities.
