Worth knowing: Bed, pillows and sofa were uncomfortable. The place needs some refreshing - bathrooms in particular look quite tired.
"H" is a great place to stay and we would go back. Close to everything in the Hunter Valley.

“The location is perfect for those visiting the vineyards that abound in the Hunter region. "H" is very well maintained and the 2 bedroom villa we booked was just what we needed. The gas fire adds to the ambiance. It is a very quiet facility, even when fully booked. There is a bar/lounge at the Two Fat Men, but no other resort type facilities. Our room 1002 faced out to the rolling hills and was just lovely. Great to have 2 lounges, most have 1 lounge for 4 people. Plenty of outdoor seating at the front and rear of the villa.”
Worth knowing: Like most people we are very particular about our beds, we like what we like :). They looked great in the photo's and they are until someone who likes a little bit more give in a bed tries to sleep. The bed was two king singles put together, quite normal, but the joins were very hard as was the mattress. This can be solved easily by placing a pillow top mattress cover on top. Check in is done via an app and can be a little long and tedious, but nothing you cannot get around. Makes sure you do it an hour before arrival.
