“Only location”
Worth knowing: We stayed at Hyde Park Inn for three nights, three people in total, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. I booked this hotel from Italy, and at the time of booking it was clearly stated that breakfast was included in the price. However, when we arrived, we discovered that “breakfast” consisted of a few basic items left inside the fridge, such as small portions of butter and small orange juices. For a hotel in this price range and in such a central location, this was honestly shocking and completely below our expectations. I had never experienced anything like this before in a hotel. I am also attaching photos so that other guests can see exactly what is meant by “breakfast” before booking. The cleanliness was also very poor. We requested room cleaning every day, and although the room was technically “cleaned”, it was extremely superficial. It seemed that the main thing they did was replace the towels. The room was not properly tidied, the cushions were barely arranged, and overall it looked as if only a few minutes had been spent cleaning the room each day. The bathroom had no window and, surprisingly, no proper ventilation fan either, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Another major disappointment was the condition of the room itself. We had booked a deluxe room, but the furniture and overall interior looked old, dated and unattractive, in addition to not feeling particularly clean. Overall, this was a very poor experience and absolutely not what we expected considering the price, the “deluxe” room category and the location of the hotel. The only positive aspect was the location, which was very convenient. Most importantly, future guests should be clearly informed about what the hotel actually means when it advertises “breakfast included”, because in our opinion the description was very misleading and significantly affected our expectations when booking.
