“The property is amazing with lots of little areas to explore the rocky shore. The staff are exceptional and extremely helpful.”
Worth knowing: The rooms are a bit dated but the property still retains it's old world charm

“The hotel is in a beautiful location, and was once the home of a duke. Many old features have been kept with some original furnishings from the late 19th century. The grounds are lovely with a good sized pool and access to the sea. Above all I should like to praise the staff for their help. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early because of a death in the family and they went out of their way to help us. We had to leave at 5 am and they had prepared us a breakfast bag each to take with us to the ferry which was most welcome.”
Worth knowing: It’s not possible to drive right to the front of hotel, though help is available with suitcases. The restaurant served excellent food, though we didn’t realise beforehand that there is no meat at all. On the other hand they recommended other restaurants just a short walk away.
