“Our stay at Hotel Metropole Taormina was truly memorable. The hotel enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of Taormina, with breathtaking views and beautifully appointed rooms that create a refined and comfortable atmosphere. A very special thank you to the front desk team, especially Amelia and the supervisor, Marie, whose patience, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness made a wonderful impression. They were consistently courteous and accommodating, responding to my requests with kindness and care and making me feel truly welcomed throughout my stay. Their exceptional service added a personal touch to the experience, and I am very grateful for their hospitality. Overall, a beautiful hotel in an extraordinary setting, made even more special by its wonderful team. I would be delighted to return.”
Worth knowing: The breakfast was enjoyable, although I would have appreciated a greater variety and a broader selection, particularly for a hotel of this standard.

“Location could not be better 10/10”
Worth knowing: Room was great Poolside - pool outlook is amazing- is very small. Pool cocktails and food are great (slow as one guy doing everything and you need to seek it out/go order). That Only real negative was on service- reception staff really did not seem too bothered with my requests and overheard multiple full on arguments with other guests in foyer The location is exceptional for shops/restaurants

“Posizione unica, nel pieno centro di Taormina e fronte mare. Camera con balcone affacciato sul mare, vista mozzafiato. Eccellente anche la piscina dell'hotel, molto scenografica.”
Worth knowing: Qualche caduta di stile delle staff. I cocktails serviti in piscina (€ 28 cad. senza alcun accompagnamento) erano oggettivamente mal eseguiti e infatti non li abbiamo finiti. Prima di uscire per cena ci siamo affacciati sulla terrazza dove vengono serviti gli aperitivi per vedere la location e il panorama e decidere se accomodarci ma siamo stati "affrontati" in malo modo dal responsabile di sala che ci ha brutalmente detto che "non si può passare". Dopo avergli chiarito che eravamo ospiti dell'hotel siamo ovviamente usciti dal locale ed egli, per completare la sua figuraccia, è andato a chiedere conferma alla reception. Comportamento inqualificabile visto il target di clientela dell'hotel .... le buone maniere sono dovute ovunque, soprattutto in hotel di questo standing. Ottimo invece il servizio reso dal resto del personale (reception, camerieri, ecc.).

“An absolutely unforgettable stay at Hotel Metropole Taormina. Everything about this hotel is exceptional—the location, the elegance, the breathtaking views—but what truly made my experience so special was the extraordinary warmth and attention of the people who work there. A very special thank you to the wonderful reception team: Amelia, Irene and Lucia, who made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. Their professionalism, kindness, elegance and attention to every little detail made all the difference. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and I was always treated with such warmth and consideration. I also want to thank the gentleman at reception who was equally wonderful—I Salvatore , i cannot forget his kindness and excellent service. And then there is Grazia at the restaurant, who deserves a very special mention. What a wonderful person! Her warmth and genuine kindness added something truly personal to the experience and made every morning even more enjoyable. Breakfast at the Metropole is simply magical: delicious food, impeccable service and what must be one of the most beautiful breakfast views in the world, overlooking the spectacular Gulf of Taormina. Sitting there in the morning, enjoying breakfast with that extraordinary panorama, is an experience I will never forget. I loved everything about my stay, but above all, I loved the way I was treated. True luxury is not only a beautiful property or an incredible view—it is how a place makes you feel. The team at Hotel Metropole made me feel special, welcomed and completely at home. A magnificent hotel, an extraordinary team and a truly memorable Taormina experience. I cannot wait to return”
