Unfortunately, the service and transfer organization completely ruined our experience. We booked the stay for only one

“The only thing we truly liked was the island itself. It is a very beautiful and scenic place with amazing nature and views.”
Worth knowing: Unfortunately, the service and transfer organization completely ruined our experience. We booked the stay for only one night, specifically because we wanted to arrive early enough to have a photoshoot and take photos and videos before sunset. On Booking.com, the information stated that the Sea Plane transfer would be at 12:00 PM and that we would arrive and be able to check in around 2:00 PM. However, in reality, we were picked up from the city only around 4:00 PM and arrived at the island at approximately 5:30 PM, when it was already getting dark. Because of this delay, we lost several valuable hours of our only night at the resort. We had specifically chosen this place for its beautiful surroundings and planned to take photos and videos before sunset, but unfortunately, we arrived too late and could not do what we had planned. What was even more disappointing was the attitude of the staff. When we explained our situation and expressed our disappointment, instead of apologizing or trying to find a solution, the staff spoke to us in a very rude, unfriendly and aggressive manner. It felt like their main concern was simply getting the payment and completing the paperwork. We were not properly informed about anything and were not offered any solution, compensation or even a simple gesture to make the situation better. We arrived around 5:30–6:00 PM, but the next day we were asked to check out around 12:00–12:30 PM. For a one-night booking, this meant that we actually had very little time to enjoy the resort. We expected a completely different level of service, especially from a resort at this price level. If the transfer information shown on Booking.com does not reflect the actual transfer schedule, this should be clearly communicated to guests in advance.
Amazing time

“The water villa is a must at the resort. We absolutely loved the stay, the attention from the staff is exceptional. The facilities options are many. The staff at restaurants, spa, bar, the host who handles your requirements.. everyone around the resort is ever ready to assist. The chefs also pay attention to your requirements and needs. They customise whatever you need.”
Worth knowing: There is nothing literally to point out.

“Our stay at Alila was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The resort is beautifully designed, the villas are stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to unwind. What made our experience even more special was the incredible team. Every member of the staff was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel at home. A very special thank you to our host, Syn, for the outstanding hospitality and care throughout our stay. Syn was always available to help, ensured everything ran smoothly, and made our holiday even more memorable. Thank you to the entire Alila team for creating such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!”
Worth knowing: Can’t complain!
A serene and restorative stay, defined by exceptional hospitality and true comfort.

“The breakfast was exceptional, with a perfect menu and flawless execution. Everything was beautifully balanced and suited the palate perfectly. I particularly loved Umami; the dinner menu was thoughtfully curated, and the food was exceptional. The location was peaceful, calm, and exactly the right setting. It was a truly delightful stay, marked by tranquillity, comfort, and exceptional hospitality; the staff were incredible and made us feel not merely welcome, but part of one big family. I left feeling thoroughly rested, refreshed, and restored.”
Worth knowing: The only thing I did not enjoy as much was the Indian thali, as it was not really to my personal taste. However, the butter chicken was perfect.
