“The hotel is very convenient right in the heart of Valletta. The rooms are large and combine modern facilities and traditionally and well decorated rooms. The room we were in, however, needed maintenance. The bedroom door handle was broken, resulting in us briefly being locked out of the bedroom and despite promises otherwise it was never fixed. The tap was wobbly and one of the towel hooks was missing. For a luxury hotel we expected better. The staff very friendly and helpful, but there were too many errors made. Their first communication named a different hotel to the one we were staying and they sent a taxi to pick us up on the completely wrong date, resulting in a very unhappy taxi driver. They don’t provide a 24-hour reception and instead they provide an access number to get in if you arrive late. They sent us the wrong code so we couldn’t get in. As you can imagine this caused us a lot of stress the evening we arrived. Each of these errors were corrected but it didn’t lead a great experience of the service. ”
