“Absolutely fantastic laid back, engulfed in nature resort. The best service we have ever received in all our travels, and we have traveled around the globe quite a bit. The entire team, from the minute we arrived, exhorted an immense amount of hospitality, kindness and professionalism. All was done and beyond to make our stay fabulous. The food was delicious with many many options. The drinks fantastic. The villas were serviced twice a day impeccably. The island hopping excursion was a great beautiful experience. The natural setting is unbeatable. Nature at it’s very best. But above it all - the service and hospitality. Attending to all our needs, accommodating all our requests. All with genuine kindness. We shall definitely recommend this paradise to our friends and family. Thank you very much, all the team, from the bottom of our hearts.”

“Cauayan Island Resort Philippines July 2026 Another great vacation in the books! This year we ventured out to the Phillipines and spent 9 wonderful days at Cauayan Island Resort in Palawan off the coast of ElNido. This beautiful island had the most wonderful people who helped us create memories that will last a lifetime. We took a calm boat ride from ElNido to the resort. We were greeted by Vincent our island host and Salil the island manager who made sure that we had everything we needed everyday and helped in planning our perfect trip. They were kind, helpful and taught us so much about the island and the surrounding sights. Our room was absolutely stunning and the views would take your breath away. We stayed in the sunrise suite. We loved sitting by the pool every morning just taking in all the views before breakfast. Every morning we headed to the restaurant to have breakfast, which was by the main pool and the beach. Nick and RJ made sure that we were all set up by the pool and beach every morning and checked on us throughout the day. The staff was always very attentive making sure we always had water, whatever drinks or food we wanted as well as clean, dry towels. The bartenders Red and JL made very tasty drinks and always using fresh juice that was available. The mango drinks were our favorite! Chef Paul Bautista created wonderful meals from breakfast to dinner. He made sure that it was cooked exactly how we liked it. There were so many different things to choose from. The pasteries as the meals were not only delicious, but baked fresh every day. This resort was a perfect place to lay back, relax, swim as well as enjoy the daily snorkeling, food, drinks and to take is the sun. It is clean, organized, secluded, quiet and peaceful. If this is what you are looking for, Cauayan is definitely the place for you. If staying on the island is not enough there are excursions that you can go on. We went on two. We took a boat the the main island of El Nido to walk around and go shopping, Gabriel came with us. He took us to the best shops to buy t-shirts, bracelets, etc. He was so extremely kind and patient. He helped us find exactly what we needed and made sure we caught the boat back to Cauayan right on time. The other excursion, which was our absolute favorite, was going Island Hopping. You can choose between a group or private experience. We chose to do the private tour from 8am-4pm on a stunning boat and had a delicious lunch prepared by Chef Bautista. The excursion was filled with some of the most breathtaking views that we have ever seen. The experience was far beyond our expectations. The pictures and videos online do not capture these views at all. The snorkeling was amazing and has been the best experience that I have ever had, all because of Joar, who stayed with us and helped me get over my fear with his patience. He pulled me around as my family swam with us. He made me feel very safe, which helped my family and I focus more on the beauty of this experience. Captain Jack helped my daughter overcome her fear of being on a boat, as well. Besides Joar and Captain Dave, Remar and Captain Jack also helped make this experience perfect. On the island throughout the week I also did a couple of spa packages by myself and one with my daughter. Mary Grace and Beverly were amazing as well as the other girls that worked there. The spa was clean and had a beautiful and peaceful view which helped in the relaxation process. Jovelyn, the spa manager and Krem helped put our spa packages together and made sure that all our needs were met. If you are planning on celebrating anything while on the island Alwin, the event specialist does a phenomenal job putting together any event that you would like. He takes pride in his job. He makes sure it is beautiful and just perfect from beginning to end. He is patient and talented. I would definitely recommend dinner on the beach at least one night during your stay We had such a wonderful experience at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner during our island vacation, and a big part of that was our waitress Liza as all of the others that work there. They were warm, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived. They made us feel welcome, offered great recommendations, and always checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. Their positive attitudes and genuine hospitality made our meal even more enjoyable. The outstanding service throughout this resort is what makes this place truly memorable. Thank you Salil and everyone for helping make our vacation so memorable. You have all gone above and beyond to make it perfect. We would definitely return and highly recommend Cauayan Island Resort!”

“I enjoyed my stay at Cauayan. I enjoyed the food, and the employees were very nice! The resort was very clean, but the only thing I would complain about are the bugs. There are bugs in the sand, but that did not ruin my experience. It was very peaceful, and the only thing you could hear were the sounds of the other customers. The rooms were very neat and luxurious. The location was absolutely beautiful and the baby sharks near the spa were very cute! I reccomend this resort!”
