Worth knowing: Shower don’t have shampoo/body soap holder. Gym equipment half broken . Hotel staff nit accommodating for even 30-45mins extension for checkout time

“The location was great for us as it is a short walk from Sao Bento railway station and also great for exploring the city centre. We found all staff courteous and helpful and on one occasion got a restaurant recommended and booked for us. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and quiet considering the city centre location. Breakfast was relaxed with plenty of choice. Overall the hotel really contributed to our enjoyment of Porto.”
Worth knowing: It's probably due to planning restrictions, but more prominent signage would have helped us identify the hotel more quickly when we first arrived - we really had to search for the name. Also, I'm afraid in common with some other modern establishments, our room suffered from light switch overload! It was like a lightshow every day switching all the combinations of lights on and off as we tried to identify what we wanted from the touch panels!
