To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding a recent two-day reservation made through your agency for the Olive Hotel, scheduled for June 11–12. This booking was intended to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife. Instead, it resulted in what I can unequivocally state is the worst hospitality experience of my 70 years of global travel. We trusted the photos, descriptions, and reviews presented on your platform, and as a result, we have been completely misled and defrauded of over $2,250.
We reserved a premium package, which included a prepaid breakfast and a room explicitly marketed as a "Mediterranean Room with a Laguna View." Upon arrival, we discovered that the property is entirely unfit to receive guests.
The serious issues we encountered include, but are not limited to, the following:
Hazardous & Inaccessible Infrastructure: The hotel parkway was extremely constricted, forcing us to wait in the vehicle just to exit. The immediate exterior was a poorly lit, foul-smelling construction zone covered in freshly laid, uneven gravel. Inside, the floors were unlevel and poorly lit, creating an immediate safety hazard.
Substandard Reception & Public Areas: The lobby was old, dusty, and neglected. The check-in process was rushed and dismissive, and the minuscule elevator opened into an incredibly cramped, confusing hallway where three room doors were squeezed together in a closet-like pathway.
Severe Room Misrepresentation & Lack of Cleanliness: The "Mediterranean Room" was shockingly substandard.”
