“We had a beautiful, spacious room with a view of.the Guggenheim. Colors were subtle but distinctive. We lucked out and for some reason were given an upgrade; that said, this was one of the most comfortable hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The breakfast was delicious; I especially liked the artisan jams,.yogurt and whole grain bread. Both the desk and breakfast room staff were warm, patient and extremely helpful. We had visited Bilbao before and chose Hotel Miro simply for a stopover on our way to Cantabria and Asturias. But honestly, the next morning it was hard to leave. You may find grander, more expensive and pretentious hotels in Bilbao, but I can't imagine finding a better one.”
