“Close your eyes and imagine the most luxurious beach accommodations possible and the perfect tonic for an apres safari experience. If dreams come true, you willl open your eyes and find yourself at the six villa, boutique Palms Zanzibar. Exquisite gardens, well apppinted and sizable villas, your own beach cabana and service that anticipates and surpasses your fondest wish. The general manager Siriak and his team think of everything. Think Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Peninsula service and personalize it at every level. The waiters and bar staff are incredible - Ngasa, Jackson, Kibalabala and Moulid, we can’t thank you enough. This place is special and will linger in our memory always.”

“It is honestly difficult to put into words how special our stay at The Palms was. We stayed for four nights during our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away. The first thing that struck us was how incredibly green, lush and peaceful the property was. The Palms feels so private and discreet – almost like discovering a hidden little world. We are in our late twenties and have been fortunate enough to travel quite a lot around the world, but we have genuinely never experienced service and hospitality like this before. We were shown to our own beautiful villa and had our own private beach cabana, which made the whole experience feel incredibly exclusive. There was always a lifeguard by the beach, and one of our favourite little luxuries was being able to go for an evening swim before getting ready for dinner. The food was another experience in itself. Every morning started with a beautiful breakfast with fresh pastries and juices. Lunch and dinner was served in different locations around the resort, with the most beautiful table settings. Our favourite was a lunch they arranged directly on the beach, underneath a canopy made from palm leaves. It was absolutely magical. We could choose our main course and enjoy wonderful three-course meals. One of the details we loved the most happened every afternoon around 6 pm. A member of staff would come to our villa with two small appetizers and two drinks, and personally present that evening’s menu and theme – perhaps Indian or African cuisine. It made us feel completely spoiled! Many evenings there would be live music or other entertainment. But what truly makes The Palms exceptional is the people. Every single member of staff seemed genuinely dedicated to making sure we had the best possible experience. They remembered what we liked, anticipated what we might need, shared information and recommendations, and somehow managed to get to know us personally while never being intrusive. We also loved that we could use facilities at the neighbouring sister resorts, which gave us access to activities such as diving and sunset cruises while still being able to return to the peace and intimacy of The Palms. Another special thing about this part of Zanzibar is the dramatic tide. In the mornings, when the tide was out, we could walk well over a kilometre out into the Indian Ocean. Even our departure showed the level of care here. We had to leave at around 5 in the morning, and the hotel manager personally came to make sure everything was taken care of and that we got safely on our way. The Palms was not simply a beautiful hotel. It was one of those rare travel experiences that you know you will remember for the rest of your life. For our honeymoon, we genuinely could not have imagined anything more romantic, personal or special. Thank you so much to everyone making our stay this magical. We will be back!! Ina & Magnus”

“A very unique and special place in paridise. Great loction on the beach with your own cabana, spacious rooms and delicious food - what more could you want! All this made even better by the world class service of the staff; a big shout to Ngasa, Jackson, Kibalabala and Moulid, thanks so much for making this a very special occassion. “Beautiful location, people and an outstanding quality of accommodation, food and service. The Palms is a wonderful place. It was my husband’s birthday whilst we were there; and the staff made it very special, without me asking for anything! The food is some of the best we’ve ever had. The staff, without exception were engaging, friendly, approachable, funny and professional. The quality of leadership is visible in everything. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable holiday.
