Charging of my credit card for large sums which not agreed and not so far rectified Unacceptable.

“Hotel is good although prices for Monterey car week are absurd.”
Worth knowing: We are in a continued dispute about the room charges. The receptionists (two) quoted a price $440 for extended checkout which we agreed. The bill the next day charged a price $1755 (4 times higher), reduced so far upon my challenge to twice higher but obviously completely unacceptable and unclear why the manager should not immediately honour the price quoted and agreed by his staff. I will continue to dispute this charge which consumes my valuable time. Wholly unacceptable.

Worth knowing: Extremely overpriced for what it was. No pool/hottub, not even air conditioning, no service, and we paid almost 2k for one night.

“Location was great. Walkable to Ocean Ave. Clean. Love the fresh cookies. Breakfast had quality breads and spreads. Green juice was yummy. Bed was comfortable. The front desk was nice enough to let me know I forgot something.”
Worth knowing: I wish breakfast had more variety aside from pastries and boiled eggs. Fresh fruit would have been nice. Unfortunately there was a stain on one of the robes in the room. Walls were a bit thin. Response time via text was slow at times.
