“Beautiful resort”
Worth knowing: We have been staying at this beautiful resort for the past 6 years and love it. However, during our recent 7-night stay, we had one very disappointing experience. After driving around the island all day on the evening of August 20th, upon arriving, we wanted to briefly stop at the turnaround to drop our belongings in our room before returning our rental car. Valet told us we couldn't stop even for a few minutes and had to use the $8/hour parking garage. The manager, Cassy, also refused to make an exception. When I said this lack of flexibility would make me reconsider returning for all future stays, she shrugged and said she didn't care. She rather make $8 from parking and miss out on the future years of earning. Sad to see such rigid service over an $8 fee for a loyal, exhausted guest.

“I was upgraded to a suite that was very very far from the elevators, but was extremely nice. Bellman helped me move things from our event to the suite and then to my car. Enjoyed the suite immensely.”
Worth knowing: The suite was very far from the elevators and at times the elevators were very crowded. It was also difficult to hear the elevator bell on the 2nd floor. The scale in the suite did not work, but everything else there was very nice. Also the tv did not have the HGTV or Cooking channel, which I like, but this was not serious. The carpet was a little worn and the extension phone in the living room was not functional, but everything else was really great!
Great Hotel and great location - made for a perfect family Hawaii holiday.

“We had a suite with interconnecting rooms. The room was fantastic. Very spacious and the views over Diamond Head were amazing. Great location right in the heart of all the Waikiki action.”
