“I thought the staff were helpful”
Worth knowing: I thought the staff were helpful, but they were woefully understaffed and could not change their circumstances. We did not have internet for the entire stay. I had to wait an hour for my valet. I don't think this was the valet's fault - I think it was a miscommunication between the front desk and valet. I had called down twenty minutes prior to coming down the the valet and I had to wait approximately 40 minutes for my vehicle. I checked in with the front desk again, upon checkout, and they assured me it would be ready. Management should not count on a phone call to do it. You need a system to prevent drop of service and to verify service is done. Take care of your customers and take care of your staff.

“Location, staff,”
Worth knowing: Confusion with the bill regarding Booking.com reservation. Duplicate charges were incorrect, although ultimately corrected. This is the 2nd time I’ve been charged incorrectly. As I am a long time loyal customer I hope The Heathman can streamline their 3rd party billing practices.
Warm, welcoming, and convenient stay downtown with comfortable rooms and a helpful staff.

“The location was excellent, within walking distance to the museum and lots of downtown shopping and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the formal sitting room was lovely - stately yet cozy. We didn't visit the bar or restaurant, but the chocolate shop was awesome :)”
Worth knowing: Upon entering, it was a little confusing as to where to proceed to the lobby. There were a few steps up with our heavy suitcases, and the lobby was past the ramp to the restaurant and around the corner. It turns our there was a small lift for suitcases, but again, it wasn't obvious and seemed cumbersome.
Very happy with this place and will return!

“We LOVED the general decor of the hotel, and LOVED our big corner room, but mostly the staff.. James in the bar was so friendly, as were others whose name I did not get.. Breakfast was great. But the people who helped us check in, drink and dine, and load our luggage as we departed were just fantastic. The room was very clean and comfortable too. THANK YOU!!”
Worth knowing: nothing- it was GREAT!
