“Beautiful building. Great location - close to our son.”
Worth knowing: Pillows were not good the first night - were not soft at all. Got new pillows for the following night and they were great. Also had trouble with the television. Sometimes it would work, but most of the time it would not.
the hotel is dated and not attractive at check-in, in the elevators and hallways.

Worth knowing: I would have left if I had not prepaid. Room was not ready at 5pm for check in and staff couldn’t tell me when the room would be ready. There was only warm water in the shower and maintenance could not get it to hot.

“Made reservations October 2025 for my daughter's wedding at the Van Dusen August 2026. When I arrived I was told I requested a low floor. I stated I did not but was put on the 4th floor with beautiful views of brick buildings and cooling rooftop system. Tried to shower with no warm or hot water. The wall by the shower was crumbling due to water damage. The stay was to say the least depressing”
