VERY loud bar downstairs!

“The decor of the room and the location were great”
Worth knowing: There was a shared kitchen just outside my room, so people would gather there, right by my door. Thankfully, they were quiet. The music from the bar downstairs was so loud the floor was shaking - I found this unacceptable as it went on until very late. My colleague, whose room was just above the bar, ended up sleeping on the sofa in my room for the entire stay (2 nights) People leaving the bar or going outside to smoke were super loud too... One more note for other guests: there is no reception.

“Fabulous rooms decor and amenities”
Worth knowing: Monotonous bass & drums emanating from ground floor establishment that vibrated everything in the room for 3-4 hours each night until 2 AM. Very difficult to maintain sleep.
This was a great boutique hotel close to many downtown amenities. Location felt safe.
