Unsafe. Deceptive. Dishonest.

“Not a single thing. The photos and description of this hotel are deliberately deceptive. The rates are comparable to surrounding hotels that far exceed the standard of this place. This Quality Inn should be in the same price bracket as a motel 6.”
Worth knowing: Everything. Wildly unsafe. Garden style. Pictures lead you to believe it’s a nice enclosed hotel like the Fairfield next door or La Quinta across the street. Lies Druggies and homeless people everywhere. Room smelled like weed. Corridors never didn’t smell like cigarettes. Pube on the floor. Check in staff were reading our personal information aloud with sketchy people in line. We immediately contacted customer service and asked to leave due to safety. No one responded until around 9:00 am the next morning. While the GM, Patel, agreed to cancel our last night he refused to let us leave. He refused to reimburse us and forced us to choose between staying somewhere we were not safe another night or paying for two hotels. Terrible experience all around. We will never be staying at another Quality Inn again after this nor do we plan on ever returning to Asheville. I worked in travel, specifically customer service, for years. This was top 3 worst travel experiences of my life. And I’ve been stranded in other countries overnight.
Good location if you don’t plan on staying in the room long. Do not recommend

“The location was nice for attending a concert at The Hellbender”
Worth knowing: The room smelled terrible, damp and pet odor. The bathroom smelled like sewer gasses. Im glad we were there only one night. The bed sits on a platform that is wood and overhangs the mattress, constantly knocking our shins into it

“The mattresses and bedding were newish.... The bath tub functioned well, water quality poor Room had a working microwave and fridge The people working there were trying their best”
Worth knowing: The carpet smelled of pet There were bugs when the light went on at night The water smelled of chlorine or chemicals Car alarms went off in the parking lot at night Breakfast was minimal and blah!, Nothing remarkable what so ever about this place The price reflected the quality...
