Poor experience for the price

“The overall experience was disappointing and well below what we expected for the price we paid. The bathroom did not provide basic amenities such as a razor, comb, or any creams or lotions. For making tea, there were only four paper cups available. We used them during our stay, but they were never replaced. Wheelchair access to the breakfast area was extremely difficult. We had to use a service freight elevator, which felt very makeshift and unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. The breakfast selection was extremely poor, especially considering that breakfast was not included and had to be paid for separately. When we asked for two yogurts, they only had one available. The same happened with bananas—there was only one. Overall, the quality of the services, amenities, accessibility, and comfort was far below what should be expected for the price we paid.”

“Convenience and location”
Worth knowing: The miniature golf course closed every day at 5 PM. I believe 8 PM should’ve been a good time to close.

“The View/Location is great, room cleaners were great, customer service not so much. Front desk did not communicate well with customers or each other. Just requesting the shuttle to leave the hotel was a hassle. Getting picked up from downtown was easy due to just contacting the driver. The rooms are little small. The refrigerator can barely be used since the hotel has it almost filled with items for sale. They advertise a shuttle to the airport, but when requesting it is not available until 3:00pm. This does not work so well when you your checkout is at 11:00. Not quite sure what the resort fee covered since the hot tub did not work, airport shuttle not available, we did not need to use the wifi. The pool could used more frequent cleaning.”

“Lovely feel about the hotel, very nicely presented, nice interior design, great rooms and nice pool area, except it wasn't well maintained / cleaned”
Worth knowing: We had a major payment issue triggered by their card system, they repeatedly took chargesd on two credit cards which weren't due, and what made matters worse was the poor communication amongst staff as no one got back to me for over 24 hours... The matter was finally resolved along with come compensation, but it was very stressful and seemed to lack any real management. Also the pool was poorly cleaned... not netted in the mornings so loads of insects were there from the night before.... lunch plates around the pool not picked up so left the place messy.... Oddly we'd still recommend it as it was a great place, just a few annoying issues.
