“We stayed at Cicilia Hotels & Spa Danang from 5 to 9 September 2026. Overall, the hotel was clean, the staff were kind and friendly, and many aspects of our stay were satisfactory. However, several issues with communication, room maintenance and the handling of our departure significantly affected our experience.”
Worth knowing: Communication and booking process Before our arrival, I contacted the hotel by email, through the contact form on its website and via Booking.com messages. Unfortunately, I received no response through any of these channels. There was also an issue concerning the credit card used for the reservation. The hotel indicated that it intended to cancel my room because the card was in my wife’s name rather than mine. In my experience, this is not a reason to cancel a reservation, particularly when the outstanding balance can be settled directly at the hotel. Booking.com also considered the handling of this matter unusual and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend reviewing this process and offering guests a reasonable opportunity to resolve payment or cardholder discrepancies before considering cancellation. Room 507 and bathroom maintenance Room 507 had an unpleasant smell on the right-hand side of the bed, although I could not identify its source. There was also an unusual smell in the bathroom. The shower drainage was another concern. Water did not drain properly, resulting in standing water after showering. The drain should be inspected and cleaned regularly to prevent this issue. In addition, there was no shower curtain or other adequate protection to prevent water from spreading into the bathroom. I would recommend reviewing both the drainage and the shower design. Check-out and departure At approximately 9:30 a.m., I wanted to begin the check-out process for rooms 507 and 512. I was informed that this could only be done once everyone had left the rooms. My wife and daughter were still packing, but I offered to allow staff to enter and inspect the rooms and minibar in the meantime. This would have allowed the necessary checks to be completed without delaying our departure. Instead, the process was not started until all guests were in the lobby. This resulted in unnecessary waiting and further delays with minibar charges and payment processing.

“The location is great and the staff is all very kind.”
Overall, I think that it is worth the stay for the price and honestly I can’t as for more. I would definitely book again

“Mainly is close to the beach and staff are super friendly”
Worth knowing: Maybe the room is a little too small for 2 guests as we chose the twin single and there was barely any room to move around or store luggages if you have more than 1 suit case
