Worth knowing: Filthy property. Homeless or junkies around.

“Parking is attached to the hotel. Good location to many venues, restaurants, etc.”
Worth knowing: Our room was close to Whyte Ave and the crowd noise outside was clearly heard from our room up until 1:30-2:00am. To be fair, it was a Saturday night and a nearby pub restaurant is a big gathering place for U of A students etc. Also, the area is not kept very clean and tidy. Empty pizza boxes littered the streets along with cigarette butts etc...especially in the morning. The city/businesses should consider sweeping and hosing down the sidewalks and streets on a regular basis.
Great location for walking to Strathcona area and lots of great restaurants.

Worth knowing: The communication about parking was a bit lacking - also an extra $21/night. I’d make sure to not get a room overlooking Whyte Ave as it would be very noisy on the weekends! We were on the back and it wasn’t too bad. We couldn’t really see out our window as the seal has failed and it was all clouded.
